Wondering what where to find clean Youtube channels? I’ve comprised a list of 10 Youtube channels that I would recommend to families. I’ve tried to add a wide variety of channels!
- Blimey Cow – These homeschooled brothers have been making videos together for years! Their Messy Monday’s videos are both thought-provoking and hilarious. My personal favorite is “Jordan’s Messyges” where the brothers sarcastically take on teenage relationship questions. The brothers are careful to make this channel very G rated!
2. Studio C/JK Studios – Studio C has been delivering awesome sketch comedy for years! The tapings are often in front of a live studio audience, so it’s really fun to watch for the occasional slip up or break in character. Recently, the main cast of Studio C branched off and created their own channel called JK studios.
3. Good Mythical Morning (The first 5 seasons)- Rhett and Link are some of the most creative and popular Youtubers. Their decades long relationship makes for an awesome comedic duo. Some of their best videos are their “Will It” series, where they attempt to combine strange and often disgusting foods. However, I need to add the disclaimer that the show has grown up with its audience, and that the past few season have gotten cruder than its beginning years. I would definitely start the show from the beginning and then evaluate whether continuing on past the first few seasons is worth the occasional innuendo.
4. TheOdds1Out – This channel is fun for all viewers but even more so for those that are creative because it is all animated. James tells stories from his life through this genre. Even though this channel doesn’t post much, each video is always high quality and worth the wait.
5. Katie Gregoire– Katie’s videos are perfect for any Christian girl to get life advice. This channel is also fun because the viewers get to watch Katie progress from the self declared “Relationship Guru who has never been in a relationship” to a happy newlywed.
6. CrashCourse– This educational site is both really helpful and entertaining. Whether you need supplemental help on a course or just want to improve your mind this is the place to go!
7. What Would You Do?– This channel is for the reality tv fan. John Quinones narrates as secret cameras record how strangers react to a scenario that is being played out by actors, for example if they would confront a shoplifter. It’s very intriguing to watch the many different ways different people react to the same situation. I will say that they do deal with some taboo topics on occasion, but those episodes are easily skipped as they titles are very descriptive.
8. Brooklyn and Bailey– This channel encompasses beauty tutorials, vlogging, and skits as it details the daily lives of identical twins Brooklyn and Bailey.
9. Olan Rogers– Olan’s storytimes are some of the funniest content on Youtube. I will add a word of caution with this channel though that his true-life stories can be crude at times. Olan is careful not to cuss in his videos, but he does use curse word alternatives.
10. Hallmark- Instead of naming a specific channel for this category, I would recommend Youtube searching for Hallmark movies a week after they air. So many of them are available to watch on Youtube, and if you’re a romantic you’re gonna be a sucker for these addictive movies- even if you can guess where the plot is going every single time!
